Is HST included in the price?
HST is not included and will be added to the total cost once your order is finalized.
What are the payment terms?
In order to reserve your date/order, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. The balance payment is due 7 days before the event to avoid forfeiture of services.
What are the modes of payment accepted?
E-transfer to engraving@imbossinc.ca is preferred. For cheques, please address them to Imboss Inc.
What are travel expenses?
We are happy to accommodate events in Southern Ontario with a fixed cost of $150. Additional travel expenses may be required for locations outside of Southern Ontario. Please inform us of your venue is and we will let you know of additional costs, if any.
Travel expenses do not apply for event venues in London, Ontario and some surrounding areas.
What happens if guests don’t claim their allotted small leather goods?
Last orders will be taken until two hours before our services our scheduled to end. We will pack the up unclaimed items and give them to your coordinator or assigned person.
We can offer to engrave the rest and drop them off to you at a later time, at an additional cost. This service is subject to our availability and needs to be arranged in advance, at least seven (7) days prior to the event.
Event Information
What are your booth requirements?
A standard set-up requires a booth of at least 5’ x 10’ area, two 6-foot tables, 4 chairs and access to 110V/60Hz 400W power. Please provide a shaded area (for outdoor booths) and supplemental climate control equipment (heaters/fans) as required for the health, safety and comfort of vendors and guests. Please confirm with your venue before making a deposit as your deposit will be non-refundable.
How long is set-up and is this included in the agreed-up number of hours for live engraving?
We will set-up at least half an hour before the event or agreed start of our services. Set-up time is not included in the agreed-upon duration of services.
What are the minimum and maximum letters for engraving?
The maximum number of letters is product-dependent. We can do up to 5 letters for most of our small leather goods. The font we use is Times New Roman, debossed.
How long does manual engraving take?
It takes 3-5 minutes per item per hot stamping machine.
What is packaging like?
We use a standard 5×7 envelope, with personalized names of your guests and your brand/logo. Finished items are displayed and will be packaged in an envelope once claimed.
How does staffing work?
Either Jess or Kevin will be present for the event to liaise with the coordinator and immediately problem-solve as needed. We will match the number of staff/machines with the number of guests you have, typically with the ratio of one (1) artisan per 40-50 guests. Our artisans operating the hot stamping machines are competitively paid. We have high respect and gratitude for our artisans and these are reflected in the event support fees.
They are provided with lunch/dinner prior to the event and so they do not require vendor meals. '
Registration Information
Are you registered and insured?
Yes, we are registered and insured. We can be found in the business registry as Imboss Inc. We are also registered with the CRA.
Will Jess and Kevin be working with you directly in the entire process?
Throughout the entire process, Jess and Kevin will be thoroughly involved. Our admin staff, Theresa Brill, may connect with you at times to ensure timely responses.
